Thrown Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Domolo Labs, LLC ("Domolo Labs," "we," "us") makes Thrown, a game where you predict punch counts for boxing fights and climb a leaderboard. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it. It describes what the app actually does today.
The short version
- You can browse fights as a guest without an account. To make picks and appear on the leaderboard, you sign in with Game Center or Sign in with Apple. There is no email or password sign-up, and we do not ask for or store your email address.
- Your account, username, picks and points are stored in Google Firebase so they work across launches and devices.
- Your username and points are shown on the public leaderboard. Your picks and profile are private to you.
- The app shows ads through Google AdMob. A one-time Premium purchase, handled by Apple, turns them off.
- You can delete your account from the Profile tab.
Your account (Firebase Authentication)
When you sign in, Google Firebase Authentication creates an account ID for you and links it to your Game Center player identity or your Apple ID sign-in. We never see your Apple ID password.
- Game Center: Firebase receives your Game Center player identity so it can recognize you next time. Your Game Center nickname is used to suggest a username.
- Sign in with Apple: the app asks Apple only for your name, not your email. If you share it, your first name is used to suggest a username. Apple sends your name only on the first sign-in.
If neither gives a usable name, the app picks one like "Fighter 1234". Usernames are limited to 30 characters.
What is stored (Google Cloud Firestore)
- Profile: your username and when the account was created, plus account flags (such as whether Premium is active) that only our server rules can set. Only you can read your profile.
- Picks: each punch-count prediction you submit, the fight it is for, when you submitted it, and the points it earned. Only you can read your picks.
- Leaderboard: your username and your total, weekly and monthly points. Anyone using the app can see the leaderboard, including guests.
Fight schedules, fighters and results are general content we publish; they are not about you. We use your data only to run the game: saving picks, scoring them, and ranking the leaderboard. We do not sell it, and there is no analytics or crash-reporting service in the app.
Firebase is operated by Google. See Firebase's privacy information.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Free players see banner ads on some screens. Ads are served by Google AdMob.
The app does not ask for permission to track you, so iOS does not give Google your device's advertising identifier. To serve and measure ads, Google may still collect information such as other device identifiers, coarse location derived from your IP address, and ad interactions, and may use it to choose which ads you see. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
With Premium, the app stops showing ads.
In-app purchase
Premium is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple. We never receive your payment card, billing address or Apple ID. The app checks with Apple whether Premium is active on your device.
Stored only on your device
A few settings stay on your device and are never sent to us: whether you chose to continue as a guest, and whether ads are turned on.
Deleting your account
In the Profile tab, choose to delete your account and confirm with Game Center or Sign in with Apple. This deletes your leaderboard entry, your profile and your sign-in account. For Sign in with Apple, the app also revokes its access to your Apple ID.
In the current version, that button does not yet remove your past picks. To have them deleted too, email support@domololabs.com from any address and tell us your username, and we will delete them. A future update will remove them automatically.
Children
Thrown is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, the EEA or the UK), you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to how it is used. You can delete your account in the app as described above. To see, correct or delete anything else, including your username, email support@domololabs.com. We do not sell or share your personal information for money.
Changes to this policy
If what the app collects or how it is used changes, we will update this page and the date above before that version is released.
